This incident is something that i could never forget and so would the co-passengers of D70 which takes me from Ambal Nagar to Velachery!! Its generally crowded and thanks to the blue board buses for you wont be drenched wid sweat!
I found a comfortable place to stand... next to a guy sitting on the ladies side !!!!He loooked at me and never bothered to offer me the seat... and i dont like asking guys to gimme a seat !!!
The lady sitting next to him gave a stern look.. but he never cared!!!! she was getting on her nerves ....and she finally asked him to give his seat for me!He bluntly said a NO!!
Lady : Cant you give your seat to a lady... these seats are reserved for ladies
Man: We never ask you ladies to give us a seat when u sit on the seats marked for guys
Lady[with a sarcastic tone]:Oh yeah is it marked??? where??? There are only two signs! One reserved for Ladies /elderly and another Beware of thiefs....
With out another word he left the seat!

Such men are a big shame on the male species... not for the lack of chivalry (which can be attributed to unfortunate upbringing), but for the lack of basic intelligence, wit and commonsense!
